Anjali Purohit

Anjali Purohit is a leader in Ontario’s renewable energy sector, specializing in the environmental assessment, regulatory coordination, and permitting of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). In her role at Boralex, she navigates the province’s evolving regulatory landscape to transition BESS projects from development to construction-readiness. With a career rooted in Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) leadership at global organizations like Amazon and Sysco, Anjali brings a  risk-based approach to project safety and compliance. She holds a Bachelor of Environment and Business from the University of Waterloo and a Sustainable Business Management certification from Harvard Business School.
